Taj Mahal

You and I would be better off if I could lend you the immediate emotion I had when I stood across the Yamuna River. It feels foolish to tangle words that can never amount to that initial drop in my stomach. There it was, the Taj Mahal. Have you ever seen something or perhaps someone so beautiful it feels intimidating? As if taking one step closer feels like a threat, like staring straight into the sun and even at that, you just can’t stop staring? The Taj Mahal went a little something like that. A stare down between the two of us.

I didn’t think I’d find myself here, this young. Now it’s been a few weeks since I visited and believe me I’ve sat in-front of this daunting blank screen thinking, thinking, thinking and I’m sorry…

It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life.
